Maisie with her work

Maisie entered the University of Bristol Brain Art competition back in February and was tasked with producing a piece of artwork which was brain-related. The competition judging coincided with the Bristol Neuroscience Festival at the Wills Memorial Building, and successful entries were showcased within the impressive building. Maisie used a range of media to depict a brain of two-halves, using different techniques to contrast emotional thoughts with calculated, scientific thinking. Her impressive work was highly commended by the judges, and Maisie was able to see her piece displayed at the Neuroscience Festival!
