Congratulations to two of our students Sophie Giltinan and Thanushan Jeyarajah who were both successful in the recent Bristol Big Youth Vote 2015 and were elected to the Bristol City Youth Council.
The 28 new members of the Youth Council then elected the city’s Youth Mayors and UK Youth Parliament members through an internal ballot and Sophie and Thanushan were both successful again.
Bristol Big Vote
Thanushan has been elected as one of the two Youth Mayors for the City and as such will act accompany him to events. Sophie has been elected as a one of Bristol’s two Members of the UK Youth Parliament and so will have to go to London, etc. to represent the views of the young people in the constituency. Well done to both.
