English students have been taking part in some fantastic enrichment workshops and activities this week.
English Enrichment Week
There have been workshops and lessons in performance poetry, creative writing and drama just to name a few. One of the highlights of the week was our new Literacy Partnership Day. Sixteen Year 10 students from St Bernadette’s Catholic Secondary School visited AS English lessons. The day started with a tour of the College conducted by our very own Literacy Ambassadors Grace, Ellen and Tibaba. The students then took an active part in lessons and even got to perform their own version of scene 1 of The Tempest in the Theatre. All of the students and staff involved really enjoyed the day and we hope to welcome St Bernadette’s students back again soon.
