Hundreds of first year students and their parents and carers took advantage of the opportunity to find out more about the many options open to them after College.

Throughout the highly informative evenings, students had the opportunity to explore a range of university, gap year, apprenticeship and employer stands in the College cafes, and could speak to a number of ambassadors. Stallholders included The University of Bristol, The University of Bath, Goldsmiths University of London, Cardiff University, gap year provider The Leap, The Army and KPMG.

In addition to the collection of stalls, students also had the opportunity to gain further information during HE and Apprenticeship talks. Topics included student finance, personal statements, applying to school leaver schemes and gap years.

Both evenings were very informative for all who attended, and enabled students to get valuable information on the fantastic range of opportunities available to them.  The event is just one of the many events which will available to the students as they progress onto their second year and head towards their graduation from College!
