Congratulations (x 3!) to Maddie Wheeler on three recent sporting achievements. Last weekend Maddie came 1st in the 2014 Girls’ Withy King Gymnastics Competition (Over 12 Advanced Category).

Hundreds of gymnasts from across the Bath area compete in this competition in floor, vault and trampet. This weekend she competed in The South West Closed Trampolining competition (the regional championships) in the Under 18s category – due to her performance she is now ranked 20th in the whole of the South West in her age group. Maddie is studying A-level Psychology and the Sport L3 BTEC Diploma and has just received an offer from Loughborough, one of the top universities for Sport in the UK, to study for a BSc Honours Sport and Exercise Science degree after she completes her courses at St Brendan’s.
