The 11 students from Oasis Brislington, who all have a keen interest in studying Drama at Level 3, enjoyed a morning of activities run by our very enthusiastic Musical Theatre group. As the Musical Theatre department prepare for their upcoming production of Bugsy Malone, there was a distinct theme to the session, which started off with a Bugsy-inspired game involving some very impressive New York accents. After the warm up was complete, the visiting students were thrilled to have insight into production rehearsals and even got to be a part of some scenes for the morning; learning songs, dance moves and how to be a boxer – Bugsy style!

The session was very rewarding for both groups of students and the Oasis Academy group are looking forward to returning to College in March to see the St Brendan’s production of Bugsy Malone in full.
