I am delighted to write the introduction to the first Weekly Newsletter of the 2014-15 academic year.

I hope that this publication will give you a good update of what is happening at the College. The Newsletter aims to improve internal and external communication and to help to ensure that you do not miss out on opportunities. The College has made real progress with attendance in 2013-14 and we want to get even better this year. We also want to make sure that all students are inspired to get the best possible grades and that they use all of the workshops and resources available to help them achieve this.
The College is on a journey to become outstanding and I am sure that with everyone’s commitment we will achieve this goal. Finally, a reminder: making the most of the first term is vital for everyone’s success!
