There was a wonderful sense of community around College last Wednesday, as the Advent Assembly ran throughout the morning.

The assembly was well attended by staff and students, who all enjoyed a break from their studies to come together and reflect upon the year, and think about the meaning of Advent. The short assembly was packed with amazing performances from students, who showcased their impressive talents by dancing, singing, and performing thought-provoking poetry.

Father Richard, who said he was honoured to be joining the College on such a day, spoke about the importance of vision and hope in the Advent season. The event was a wonderful opportunity for all members of St Brendan’s to come together to celebrate Diversity, Community and Growth, and to reflect on the importance of hope and the messages of the Advent season.
