A group of 31 students enjoyed a taste of the Big Apple this month on a packed-schedule trip to New York!

Students studying Business, Law, Economics and Accounting were lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel state-side; taking their lesson learning outside of the classroom and seeing some of the world’s most iconic attractions.

Students travelled some 3,500 miles and embraced a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn more about how business is conducted in America and investigate the importance of customer service. As well as having a chance to experience a different cultural environment, Law students in particular were interested to learn more about the State’s legal system.

The large group of lucky teens stayed for 4 nights and 5 full days in the city and were thrilled to be staying in a hotel just off Times Square; right in the heart of the action. Days were full of sight-seeing and learning and the group managed to tick off all of New York’s most iconic tourist attractions including the Empire State Building, the Supreme Court, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Wall Street and SoHo! Sports fans also had a chance to watch the New York Nicks play basketball; a highlight for many.

Students and staff returned to College with many stories to share and are now busy applying their discoveries to their work in class.
