Students and staff at St Brendan’s pulled on their Santa beards, donkey tails and even toilets and came together on Tuesday for The Big St Brendan’s Run to the Loo!
A group of over 70 from the St Brendan’s community ran, walked and hobbled the 2.5k trail around the College and local area in a bid to raise money for Toilet Twinning. For £60, the College can twin one of their toilets with one half-way around the world, and help those in desperate poverty to have access to a proper latrine, clean water and the information they need to be healthy. The College hopes to twin as many toilets as possible (we have a total of 22 blocks!) more to come on the final total raised. Well done to everyone who got involved, it was great to see so many Santas in the amphitheatre!
