It looks to be an exciting 2019 for St Brendan’s, as official plans have been released detailing an ambitious new building project, which will bring an expanded range of professional sports facilities to College and our community.

We were thrilled to release the plans this week, which include a full size 4G flood-lit pitch that will accommodate rugby, football and four smaller 7-a-side pitches. Athletes, future sports stars and hobbyists will also have access to four outdoor netball and tennis courts. Inside the centre, guests will be able to use the College’s new changing facilities, and will also be able to make use of a conference room and classroom.
The exciting project will not only enhance students’ learning, but will also enable students and staff to enjoy group sports during their free time. We are thrilled to announce the new facilities will also be available for public use during evenings, weekends and throughout the College holidays and we look forward to sharing the new addition with our local community.
The new plans are currently on display for public view on the College perimeter wall next to the main entrance.
