About us
St Brendan's is an open access Sixth Form College with approximately 2000 students aged between 16-18, from over 70 schools and qualifies for a number of widening participation initiatives.
68% of our students live in low participation neighbourhoods (POLAR 4 quintile 1 and 2) and 18% are former pupil premium students, with 14% qualifying for a post-16 bursary. 23% of our cohort are BAME and 12% have special educational needs. Average GCSE grade on entry is 5.6 and 13% of students join us without either maths or English at grade 4 or above.
