Virtual Placements
Students can still participate in a placement using technology to virtually undertake activities that they would have done in the workplace.
We have adapted our approach over the past 2 years and know that when set up in the right way, virtual placements can add real value to your business and students develop essential digital skills. We have access to systems and platforms to enable virtual placements to run.
Barclays
Sam completed a finance related, virtual placement with Barclays Bank.
His week long placement took place at the beginning of his second year at St Brendan's. Due to restricitons at the time, Sam completed his placement online, nevertheless still managed to gain the knowledge and experience he needed for his future career path.
