Sarah and Corrin
Sarah and Corrin both took A-level Dance at St Brendan’s. They then went on to Middlesex University, undertaking degrees in Dance Performance and Dance Studies respectively, even living together for 3 years!
After dancing for several years in London, Sarah experienced dance injuries and decided to follow a different career path. She now lives in Dubai and is a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines.
Corrin is still dancing and says the following about her career progression: “Alongside my third year of training at Middlesex I was lucky enough to complete an intensive training course at The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Following my undergraduate degree I worked as a professional dancer abroad, performing in various Cabaret shows and Musicals such as Chicago, Grease, Cats and Hairspray. Once I returned to the UK I joined a company called South West Dance Theatre, performing and choreographing for various events in and around the Bristol area. In 2013 I began to pursue a career in teaching by studying for a PGCE in Dance Education at Exeter University and I am now a Secondary School and A-level Dance Teacher working at a school in Thornbury, Bristol."
