I am in my final year of university, I study Sport Rehabilitation at University West of England. The course was everything I wanted, and taking BTEC sport at St Brendan’s was a huge stepping stone that gave me more than enough UCAS points.
The course is fantastic, I have worked with Bristol Bears academy and Bath Rugby first team and so many other teams and events over the last few years. I have started my own business treating athletes from home, but am also looking for a full-time job.
My advice to someone at St Brendan’s would be to gain work experience before you choose a degree, this really helped me before I selected a course. Also to not disregard BTEC’s, it’s a brilliant scheme that is recognised and gives you the same UCAS points.
