This year students will be embarking upon an impressive range of apprenticeships with companies including Burges Salmon, Lyons Davidson, Deloitte, Rolls Royce and Babcock.

Amongst the group who will be joining the world of work is 18-year-old Sophie King. An accounting enthusiast, the humble teen received a sought-after offer to join the 360-degree programme with KPMG, after completing her A-levels in Mathematics and Psychology, alongside working towards an AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

Known as one of the Big Four accounting organisations, securing an apprenticeship with KPMG is no mean feat. Sophie now has the opportunity to develop with the company over six years, during which time she will develop her skills and broaden her knowledge of Audit, Tax, Consulting and Deal Advisory.
