Six St Brendan’s students have received news that they have been selected to be on the Bristol Leadership Team 2015.

Samantha Anibigno (pictured), Eunice Gachango, Ahmed Abshir, Shanay Bowen, Tanisha Lesporis and Aleksandra Legiec were nominated for the programme by their teachers, who felt their incredible talent and aspirations should be nurtured by a range of top professionals.
Our six students are a part of the eleven Further Education pupils from Bristol who have been identified as having high ability and high aspirations, but who don’t necessarily get as many opportunities as others due to their backgrounds.
The programme will provide the students with the tools to apply to some of the best global universities and access the best courses. They will embark upon a summer school this year where they will meet the Mayor, various CEOs, MPs and professors. They will also obtain crucial interview practice, attend formal dinners and learn to deliver speeches. Congratulations to our lucky six, and thank you to those who nominated them!
