If your teacher is absent ..
Teacher / staff member has posted to say that they are not able to deliver your lesson and have set work for you - what you need to do:
The lesson is NOT cancelled, it is unsupervised.
You must read the instructions on Teams carefully and use the lesson time to complete the work that has been set for you.
You should make use of the classroom that you are timetabled to be in: a cover supervisor will usually come in at the start and end of the lesson to check on you.
Where possible colleagues from within the course / support team will also come in to check everything is ok and will sometimes be able to cover the lesson.
