Young Minds
Young Minds are a mental health charity for young people and their parents who provide resources and support for a wide range of challenges.
The A-Z guide lets you choose which area you need support with from Depression and Low Mood to Social Media.
Parent Helpline:
Phone support and Online chat for parents/carers and anyone who is the main carer of a child (kinship carers, legal guardians, foster carers, grandparents or siblings). They provide advice, guidance and emotional support for you if you need it.
You’ll get a follow-up email and your conversation will remain confidential unless there are significant concerns about someone’s safety.
Bristol Mind
Bristol Mind have a huge amount of resources on everything from employment and work to LGBTQIA and men’s mental health.
They run an information service between 9:30am-12:30pm every weekday, which you can contact by calling 0117 980 0370 or by emailing info @bristolmind@org.uk
The trained volunteers will signpost you towards services which can help.

Hub of Hope
Hub of Hope is a mental health support database.
If you enter your postcode and select the issue you would like support with, they will provide a list of local, national, charity, community and private services available to you.

Anna Freud
Anna Freud provide advice for adoptive parents, special guardians, kinship carers and fosters carers on how to support young people’s mental health.
They also provide wellbeing and self-care resources for parents and carers.
