Summer Schools
These are a fantastic opportunity that all ASPIRE Programme students are actively encouraged to apply for and attend.
This year we have students attending summer schools as far and wide as Oxford, Surrey and Edinburgh. These are a great chance to sample university life and explore a subject at a higher level. It gives students a real insight into what they might like to pursue after their time at St Brendan's. There are summer schools especially for students who meet widening participation criteria through the Sutton Trust. This enables those who are the first generation in their family to attend university, or who are from lower income backgrounds to explore the option of attending a top university.
